Midjourney Not Loading? Fix Stuck Jobs Fast

What to do when the Midjourney web app hangs or a job sits at "Queued" and never renders.

Updated August 13, 2026

A blank Midjourney page or a job frozen at "Queued" usually has a mundane cause. Work through these in order.

The web app will not load

  1. Hard refresh with Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R.
  2. Clear site data for midjourney.com and sign in again with the Discord account tied to your subscription.
  3. Disable extensions — privacy blockers are the single most common cause of a half-rendered gallery.
  4. Try a different browser or an incognito window to confirm.

If the site is unreachable everywhere, it is an incident: Midjourney is down or not loading.

A job is stuck in the queue

  • Open /info in Discord and check remaining fast hours. With zero fast hours and no relax mode, jobs never start.
  • Cancel the job and resubmit once. Cancelled jobs are not billed.
  • Reduce complexity: very high --quality or large upscales queue behind everything else at peak times.
  • Check whether the same prompt was flagged. Moderated prompts fail quietly rather than returning an error.

Persistent slowness

Relax mode queues stretch during US evening hours. If you need predictable turnaround, switch to fast mode with /fast for the session.
